You will be spending quite a bit of time outside on the Earth, listening, witnessing and eventually harvesting and preparing the plants.

Throughout the 13 months, we will explore the qualities of nourishment related to the turn of the seasons and the compassionate teachings of the plants through shamanic listening exercises,
writing and creative arts exercises.
Woven into this course will be the many ways we may choose to nourish ourselves including whole and wild food preparation, herbal crafting, yogurt, kefir and
cheese making, fermentation and creating sustainable life ways for ourselves, our families,our community and our world.
As you participate in this course, you will be spending quite a bit of time listening.
The shamanic listening exercises offered monthly will help you expand your awareness into the realm of the unseen worlds.
Simple guiding steps will help you connect in with the course often. You will be invited each month to express yourself through the creative arts as a way of integrating what you have perceived and received. You will have an opportunity to send your expressions to me and share them on our social networking site.

Monthly Assignments sent via email between the new and first quarter moon: Shamanic listening exercises to be done outside on the land and a few inside in a quiet place. Recipes for crafting nourishing herbal preparation from herbs at your doorstep. Tips on how to cook nourishing, local, wild and whole foods. Indentification of weeds, native wild plants and ways to craft these plants into nourishing herbal preparations. Tips on wildcrafting, how to sustainable and consciously gather, prepare and utilize herbs
